In the first quarter Berrien came out strong. Harris moved the ball 22 yards around to mid field. Two carries by senior, Quinton Tisby, put the Rebels up 7 to 0 with ten minutes left in the first. The Bobcats tried to answer back but were cut short when Dalton Ingram intercepted a pass and ran it in 40 yards for another Berrien touchdown. Both defenses hunkered down in the first and were nearly impenetrable.

In the second quarter Early County was desperate to put up points. The Bobcats moved the ball down field where Junior, Traquez Wells, forced his way into the end zone for a touchdown. At the end of the first half the Rebels led 14 to 7 on the Bobcats.

Early County came out of the half ready to even up the game, driving the ball down to the 22 yard line where Wells carried the ball in for another touchdown. An extra point would tie the game up.

In need of insurance points, Tisby and Harris rushed the ball down the field. Tisby carried the ball 15 yards for a Rebel touchdown with five minutes left in the third. The Rebels fed off high energy from the crowd going into the fourth quarter. Moving the ball 14 yards, Harris carried the ball another 31 yards for another touchdown.

The Rebels now led 28 to 14 against the Bobcats. Early had not given up hope yet. Coming within 5 yards of the end zone quarterback, Miles Norman, threw a pass to Wells for another touchdown. The Rebels managed to block the kick keeping the score 28 to 20. Struggling to move the ball down the field Berrien punted the ball back to Early where Wells gained another 7 yards for a touchdown. The Rebels managed to hold the Bobcats attempt at a two point conversion. Once again in need for insurance points Tisby returned the punt to the 5 yard line. Quarterback, Blake Guthrie handed the ball off to Harris and ran into nothing but an open field as the Bobcats trailed behind him for a 95 yard carry into the end zone. The Rebels defeated the Bobcats 35 to 26.

The Rebels are now 1-1 on the region, they will be traveling to Thomasville next Friday to face off against the Bulldogs who are 3-0 in the region.
