In the nightcap, it was apparent the Rebels would have little to no problem with an over matched Trojan squad.  It was all Rebels in the first half as they jumped out to a 41-19 halftime lead behind 12 points from sophomore Tamarrion Terry. The second half was more of the same with Rebel head coach Dr. Tyrone Kellogg emptying his benches over the course of the second half en route to a stress free 73-39 victory.

Terry led the way for the Rebels with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Also scoring in double figures was junior DeAndre Pierce with 12 points.

With the victory, the Rebels (9-1 overall) will advance to the tournament semifinals where they will take on Lanier County (7-2). The Rebels and Bulldogs both play in Region 2-A but the game will not count towards their region standing. It will, however, be a key game for both teams as they look to rack up quality wins to enhance their overall power ranking. The first power rankings will be released by the GHSA in early January.

Tip off is set for around 8:00 in Ashburn.
