Valdosta-  Depending on who you talk to, Team Duels tournaments are meant to showcase how well you wrestle as a team, or is an opportunity to get matches for individual wrestlers. Either way, coach Benjo Scarbor  tinkered with his lineup over the  Christmas break, and again for the region team duels.  His squad dominated, defending, Tift, Colquitt, and Lowndes to secure the team duels region champiionship Edit: Valdosta went on to finish fourth in the State Duels.

Tift and Lowndes would duke it out for second, and the Viking would come out on top. Justin Hasty, Tift's 189lb sat out with an injury.
